West Henrietta, NY — September 27 — The Henrietta Fire District honored Firefighter Steven Boldt as he retired after more than 26 years as a career firefighter, along with numerous years of volunteer service prior to becoming a full-time member of the district.


Throughout his career, Boldt was awarded several Life Saving Awards in recognition of his heroic actions during emergency situations. He was also respected for his willingness to share his expertise and experience with his fellow firefighters, helping others improve their skills and knowledge.


His long years of service demonstrated a deep dedication to emergency response and public safety. Both career and volunteer firefighters are essential in protecting communities, responding to emergencies, and supporting residents during challenging times.
