Cazenovia Crews Strengthened Fireground Skills During Tower Drills

Cazenovia, NY — September 16 — Members of the Cazenovia Fire Department participated in another evening of practical training at the fire training tower, where firefighters continued to enhance the skills required for emergency response.

The training session offered firefighters a chance to practice fireground procedures in a controlled environment.


Training towers enable fire personnel to focus on key tasks such as navigating multi-story buildings, operating hose lines, using stairways, and working in coordination with other team members.The specific exercises conducted during this session were not disclosed.


Tower drills help firefighters become more familiar with building structures and the potential challenges they may face during incidents in multi-story buildings.
