Mount Union, Pa. — September 26, 2026 — Members of the Mount Union Fire Company participated in Traffic Incident Management Responder Training on Saturday morning at 8 a.m. emphasizing safe and effective operations at roadway emergencies.
The training emphasized the importance of safeguarding emergency responders, motorists, and other individuals working in proximity to traffic. Traffic incidents can place firefighters, police officers, EMS crews, and other responders in danger from moving vehicles, so scene awareness, communication, and coordination are essential for a safe response.
