W Chester, PA - Volunteer firefighters from four regional departments assembled Thursday evening at the Chester County Public Safety Training Center to execute realistic live-burn training drills aimed at mastering aggressive interior fire suppression tactics.

On September 17, 2026, West Bradford Fire Company partnered with neighboring crews from Wagontown Fire Company, Alert Fire Company No. 1, and Minquas Fire Company No. 2 for an intensive joint training evolution at the county facility in Chester County.

During the multi-company session, personnel rotated through three distinct fireground scenarios designed to replicate high-stress structural fire environments. Firefighters advanced active hoselines into the burn building, focused on rapid interior fire attack, practiced coordinated ventilation maneuvers, and executed search-and-suppression objectives under real smoke and heat conditions.

Department leadership highlighted the value of bringing the regional companies together, emphasizing that shared live-fire drills build vital tactical familiarity and teamwork across mutual aid boundaries before real structural emergencies occur in Chester County.
