Owen Aslin Completes Probationary Training, Earns Firefighter Shield

Cranberry Township, Pa. — September 10, 2026 — Firefighter Owen Aslin has completed his probationary task book and earned his firefighter shield, marking another step in his development with the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company.
The fire company announced the achievement in September. 10 and congratulated Aslin on finishing the requirements of his probationary period.
Aslin has participated with the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company for several years. In 2024, he was one of four CTVFC members who swore in as fire police officers at a Cranberry Township Board of Supervisors meeting. Fire police members help manage traffic and control the scene during emergency operations and community events.
