Magnolia, N.J. — September 11 — Magnolia Fire Company honored the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, by remembering the 2,977 individuals who lost their lives in the attacks, as well as the many families and communities impacted by the events. The day also acknowledged the dedication of firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, and civilians who stepped forward to assist others during the crisis. For those in the fire service, September 11 remains a significant part of the profession's history and continues to influence training, safety protocols, and the well-being of firefighters.

The lasting impact of the attacks is still a central part of the 9/11 story. The World Trade Center Health Program offers medical monitoring and treatment for responders and survivors diagnosed with conditions linked to their exposure to harmful substances at the disaster sites. This program has served almost 150,000 people across the United States and its territories.

Magnolia Fire Company, based at 116 W. Evesham Ave., continued to honor the service and sacrifice of those who responded on that day. The department also remembered the survivors, families, and responders who have carried the long-term effects of September 11 into the years that followed.

Twenty-five years after the attacks, the fire service continues to remember September 11 and the values of service, preparedness, and support for fellow responders.
