Mays Landing, N.J. — September 16, 2026 — Firefighters at Laureldale Fire Rescue spent the entire day testing equipment, as US Fire Services came to the station to perform annual inspections of fire hoses, ground ladders, and apparatus pumps.
The scheduled maintenance was included in the department’s continuous efforts to ensure equipment is prepared for emergency operations. The fire hose underwent pressure testing, while ground ladders and apparatus pumps were checked and tested to ensure they operated correctly.
US Fire Services includes fire hose testing, ground ladder testing, pump testing, aerial testing, hydrant testing, and evaluations of nozzles, hose appliances, and systems as part of its fire-service testing offerings. The company states that its testing teams carry out NFPA equipment inspections and maintain records of past testing.
