Evesham Fire-Rescue Remembered 9/11 on Its 25th Anniversary

Marlton, N.J. — September 11 — Evesham Fire-Rescue observed the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks by honoring the individuals who lost their lives and the emergency service workers who responded on that day.The department, based at 984 Tuckerton Road, Suite 205, in Marlton, participated with fire and emergency service agencies nationwide in marking the occasion.
Evesham Fire-Rescue operates multiple stations throughout the community, including those on Main Street, Kings Grant, and Kettle Run.
On September 11, 2001, firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and other emergency responders were called to the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the crash site in Pennsylvania.
The 9/11 Memorial & Museum reported that 343 members of the Fire Department of New York lost their lives at the World Trade Center.
The anniversary also paid tribute to the many responders who became ill as a result of their work at the attack sites and during the recovery efforts.
In 2026, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum introduced a seventh moment of silence during its annual ceremony to honor those who later passed away due to health issues related to the 9/11 attacks.
Twenty-five years later, Evesham Fire-Rescue continues to honor those who were lost, remember the service provided on that day, and remain committed to the promise of Never Forget.
