In Union County, the Springfield Fire Department operates Car 6, a 2017 GMC/Reading Multi Service Unit.. Features and equipment include an 80 gallon diesel tank, hitches and tow straps, flares, safety cones, chains, cutters, Hand tools, a tool bag, irons, hand fire extinguishers, a hydrant wrench, rope bags, 1 ¾-inch donuts, a dewatering pump, two Streamlights, cord reels, a BLS bag and Rigid scene lights mounted midship.
