Franklin Twp., NJ — September 14 — Franklin Twp Fire & EMS, located at 410 Old Main Street, Asbury, carried out a live car fire training drill that gave firefighters the chance to practice their fireground skills in a controlled environment. During the hands-on part of the drill, firefighters pulled hose lines, worked on controlling the nozzle, and successfully extinguished a real vehicle fire. This training enabled them to refine their hose handling and fire attack techniques while working as a team.

Other firefighters focused on pump operations and were involved in truck-related tasks, giving them more experience with the functions of fire apparatus and water supply systems.

EMS members stayed on standby throughout the exercise and provided firefighter rehabilitation, including a designated area for members to recover after completing training activities.
