Allamuchy Fire Completed Roof Operations Drill

Allamuchy, NJ — September 22 — The Allamuchy Fire Department carried out a roof operations drill at Allamuchy Township School as part of its regular firefighter training activities. During the exercise, firefighters practiced using ladders and accessing the roof of the school, which enabled them to work on positioning equipment and coordinating efforts in a larger public building.The drill also involved running water through the ladder standpipe connection.


Firefighters had the chance to gain practical experience with connecting and operating a hoseline from the building’s fire protection system.

The school is situated at 20 Johnsonburg Road in Allamuchy and is part of the Allamuchy Township School District.

This training also reinforced the department's ongoing emphasis on ladder and water-supply operations.
