Cheesequake Firefighters Attend Route 9 McDonald’s Groundbreaking

— September 1 — On Tuesday, members of the Cheesequake Volunteer Fire Company joined local officials and community representatives at the groundbreaking ceremony for a new McDonald’s on Route 9 in Old Bridge. 


The fire company stated that its involvement was part of its continued effort to foster relationships with local businesses and enhance community outreach. As part of their public-service role, members frequently engage in community events and collaborate with local organizations. 


The Cheesequake Volunteer Fire Company serves Fire District No. 2 in Old Bridge Township. Established in 1926, the company runs three stations, among them those located on Route 34 and Route 516.
