Ewing, N.J. — September 14 — Members of the West Trenton Volunteer Fire Company spent the afternoon gaining hands-on experience with their new Engine 33 during a training session centered on apparatus operations, water supply, and hose-line techniques.
The drivers became acquainted with the new equipment, operated the pump, and practiced drafting. More recent firefighters also gained hands-on experience with engine-company operations by working on hose line handling and advancement.
The training allowed members to grow more at ease with the new equipment and rehearse essential skills in a controlled environment.
