On the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks, Captain Sroka and Firefighter Pall from the Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company traveled to the World Trade Center site in New York City to honor those who perished.
As part of the anniversary remembrance, the members visited the site where the Twin Towers once stood. Their visit coincided with communities nationwide commemorating 25 years since the attacks that claimed 2,977 lives, among them 343 FDNY firefighters.
The Three Bridges Volunteer Fire Company stated that the visit was meant to commemorate the events of September 11 and pay tribute to those who gave their lives.
