— September 27 — On Sunday morning, members of the Clinton Fire Department took part in a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb organized by the Raritan Township Fire Company. The event united firefighters and community members to pay tribute to the 343 FDNY firefighters who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
Each year, the stair climb takes place at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, where participants race to scale a distance equal to that of the stairs in the World Trade Center towers. The event is hosted by the Raritan Township Fire Company in collaboration with Hunterdon Health, and all proceeds will support the FEALGood Foundation.
