Montclair Firefighters Train on New Forcible Entry Door

Montclair, N.J. — September 22 — Members of the Montclair Fire Department visited Firehouse Innovations LI to receive hands-on training on the forcible entry door they had recently acquired. 

The training was designed to help firefighters maintain their skill in forcible entry methods. The specialized door system is built to provide firefighters with realistic, repeatable training across various door types and entry scenarios. Firehouse Innovations states that its Multi-Force Forcible Entry Door System is employed by fire departments nationwide, including the FDNY, and can replicate both inward- and outward-opening doors along with various jamb setups. 

Montclair firefighters expressed their gratitude to Mike Perrone, Gianni DeRosa, and Firehouse Innovations LI for offering the training and backing the department’s ongoing hands-on readiness.
