AMKUS Rescue Systems Demonstrates Next-Gen Hydraulic Rescue Tools for Roseland Volunteers

Roseland, N.J. — September 22 — Members of the Roseland Volunteer Fire Department tested the latest battery-powered vehicle extrication equipment during a hands-on training session at the firehouse.

Representatives from AMKUS Rescue Systems and Strategic Safety Dynamics demonstrated modern cordless hydraulic rescue tools before giving firefighters the opportunity to use cutters, spreaders, combination tools and extension rams on vehicles provided by DeFalco’s Instant Towing.

Firefighters tested the equipment on various vehicle components, evaluating cutting power, battery life, maneuverability and ergonomics compared with traditional hydraulic rescue systems.

The training allowed department members to gain practical experience with evolving rescue technology and evaluate equipment that could meet the operational needs of Roseland and surrounding communities.
