Tisbury Firefighters Trained With Extrication Tools

Vineyard Haven, MA — September 20 — Personnel from the Tisbury Fire Department carried out a rescue drill specifically designed for motor vehicle incidents. This training provided both new and experienced firefighters with the chance to gain hands-on experience using Rescue Truck 661 and its vehicle extrication tools.

During the exercise, members practiced operating battery-powered and hydraulic rescue tools, which are essential for stabilizing damaged vehicles and creating safe access for trapped individuals.
