Cousins Battle Cherry Hill Fire Together

Cousins, Pennsauken FD Lt Joseph Magliari and Cherry Hill FD FF John Quigg III were able to work a fire together at 406 Garden State Drive, Cherry Hill, NJ on September 22, 2026.

On September 22, 2026, the Cherry Hill Fire Department and automatic-aid units were dispatched to 406 Garden State Drive for a reported bedroom fire. Upon arrival, units reported fire showing from a second-floor bedroom.

Crews quickly stretched handlines and knocked down the fire before it could significantly extend into the attic. Two cousins, Pennsauken Lt. Joseph Magliari and Cherry Hill FF John Quigg III, were both on duty that day and had the opportunity to work the fire together.

The fire was placed under control in approximately 15 minutes.
