Middletown Springs, Vt. — September 22 — On Tuesday, members of the Castleton Volunteer Fire Department made the trip to Middletown Springs to assist in preparations for the last ride of a firefighter who had passed away.
The department stated that its members went to Middletown Springs to set up and make final adjustments before Saturday’s funeral procession. The post called the person being honored a hero, brother, friend, and an outstanding individual, with firefighters set to reconvene Saturday at noon for the final tribute ride.
