Christopher Brown Begins New Role With Colchester Fire Department

Colchester, Vt. — September 20 — This week, Christopher Brown, a longtime firefighter with the Vermont Air National Guard, started a new career chapter by transitioning from his full-time role with the Vermont Air National Guard Fire Department to a full-time position at the Colchester Fire Department. 

Brown finished his last full-time assignment with the Vermont Air National Guard Fire Department in September. 19, as announced by the department. He started his new role as assistant chief with the Colchester Fire Department in September. 20. 

Brown is not departing from the Vermont Air National Guard completely. The department stated that he will keep serving with the VTANG Fire Department during drill weekends.
