Providence Firefighters Gather to Remember Those Lost on Sept. 11

Members of the Providence Fire Department convened at department headquarters on Friday to honor those who lost their lives in September. On September 11, 2001, communities throughout Rhode Island commemorated the 25th anniversary of the attacks. 

The department’s remembrance was centered on honoring those who perished and ensuring their legacy endures through the everyday efforts of firefighters. Members convened at headquarters for the department’s annual 9/11 observance.
