Burke Mountain Academy Commits $25,000 to East Burke Fire Brigade

On September 17, 2026, the East Burke Fire Brigade revealed that Burke Mountain Academy had made a major financial pledgecommitting $ 5,000 each year for five yearsto aid local emergency services in East Burke, Vermont. 

As part of the commitment, Burke Mountain Academy will contribute a total of $25,000 to the fire brigade. The brigade says the funding will assist with maintaining equipment, updating gear, and providing other resources for volunteer first responders. The contribution is also meant to bolster emergency-service readiness for both the academy and the nearby Burke community.

The presentation brought together representatives from both organizations.
