On September 6, 2026, members of the East Burke Fire Brigade came together to honor a long-serving member and mentor recognized by the department as Tim.
The brigade stated that its members gathered to honor a man regarded as a brother, mentor, and friend. The department also considered the skills and lessons Tim imparted to his fellow firefighters, as well as the time they spent together.
