Massport has reassigned two fire apparatus from Boston Logan International Airport to Hanscom Field. The former Logan Engine 1—a 2019 Rosenbauer Commander (1500 GPM / 1500 Tank / 250 AFFF / 250 AR-AFFF)—has been designated as Engine 53. Additionally, a 2012 Oshkosh Striker 4500 (1950 GPM / 4500 Tank / 630 AFFF / 500 lbs PKP / 460 lbs Halotron), which previously served as Engines 21 and 7, has been designated as Engine 52.
