A century-old Model T with deep ties to Franklin Fire & Rescue was back on the road as part of the Delaware County Fair parade.
On August 20, 2026, Franklin Fire & Rescue brought the approximately 100-year-old apparatus to Walton for the annual parade. According to the department, the Model T has spent its entire life in Franklin and remains an important piece of the department’s history.
The antique vehicle provides a look back at an earlier era of the fire service, when apparatus was considerably different from the engines, trucks and specialized vehicles in service today.
