On July 1, 2022, Jersey City Squad Co. 1 was established in the ever growing tall building downtown section. They respond to emergencies with the company's 2006 Spartan/Rescue 1 model, that was refurbished in 2022 by Rescue 1. It originally served as a Mass Casualty Unit. Members of the unit include, L-R, Captain Daniel Pellegrino, and Firefighters Gustavo Domecq, Corey Green and Benjamin Woldoff.
