The City of Cambridge recently placed twin Pierce Enforcer pumpers in service at Engines 2 and 5. These apparatus have a short wheelbase and are equipped with the Oshkosh TAK-4 T3 rear steer system, enabling effortless navigation through the city's congested streets and endless maze of bicycle lanes. They carry 500 gallons of water and can pump 1250 gallons per minute.
The 2019 Pierce Enforcer previously assigned to Engine 5 was reassigned to Engine 9, and the identical 2020 model from Engine 2 will go to Engine Co 8.
