The Wormelsdorf Fire Company recently acquired two pieces that have served with other departments. First, the newest piece to join the fleet is a 2007 Mack/Pierce tanker (1000/3000) which formally served in Fairfax County, VA. This piece has replaced a 1989 International/4-Guys. The second piece is a 1998 Pierce Lance 105' rear mount ladder, this piece served Levittown, NY and Old Forge, PA prior to coming to Wormelsdorf. The ladder was purchased as a "fill in" while their current Ladder 47 (1997 Pierce Lance Quint) 1500/300/105' is out receiving an extensive refurbishment.
