Williamstown, NJ - Williamstown Fire Department units were dispatched for an animal rescue incident involving a cat in distress. Upon arrival, crews safely located and rescued the animal without incident.

Following the rescue, the cat was turned over to Gloucester County Animal Control for further care. Authorities have requested that the owner come forward for identification and recovery.
