West Pawlet Fire Department Restores Historic Firehouse Sign

On August 2, Stacy Gertis and Kelly Morneault Watrous updated the long-standing wooden firehouse sign of the West Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department.
In October 2024, a new metal sign took the place of the wooden one that had been on the present and old firehouses for many years. The original sign will be on display above the department's Memorial and Recognition plaques in the meeting room after it has been restored.
Gertis and Watrous were recognized by the department for sharing their creative talents and time.
