Former Saddle Brook Rescue in Service in Passaic
Photo by Adam AlbertiThe City of Passaic Fire Department recently purchased a 1995 Pierce Lance heavy rescue that formely served the Saddle Brook Fire Department. It is currently in service as Rescue 1 and will be manned by recall personnel when needed. It will be utilized for firefighter rehab, and cascade unit to fill SCBA bottles at incidents. It also is used as a mobile command center for both the fire department as well as the office of emergency management as needed. The apparatus is out fitted with additional tools and hazmat mitigation equipment.
