Dayville Fire Company Conducted Hose Line Training

Dayville, CT. — August 6 — Training on hose line deployment, nozzle operations, and fireground communications was held on Thursday nite by the Dayville Fire Company. Before water flowed, members practiced stretching hose lines to designated spots while working in groups. The crew's job was to regulate the line while using their hose streams to attack different objectives.


The training also emphasized how crucial it is for nozzle operators and other firemen using the hose line to communicate clearly. Members were able to experience moving, placing, and using hose lines throughout the practical session. Firefighters were able to maintain the fundamental abilities required for safe and efficient fire suppression operations with regular training.
