Dayville Fire Company Conducted Hose Line Training

Dayville, CT. — August 6 — Training on hose line deployment, nozzle operations, and fireground communications was held on Thursday night by the Dayville Fire Company. Before water flowed, members practiced stretching hose lines to designated spots while working in groups. The crew's job was to regulate the line while using their hose streams to attack different objectives. Firefighters were able to maintain the fundamental abilities required for safe and efficient fire suppression operations with regular training.
