The CT Fire Academy held graduation ceremonies and exercise for the Advanced Cadet Class 14 on Saturday, August 15th at the CT Fire Academy. Students are young adults that attend a week-long residential program honing their skills. As part of the graduation students, are two members of the South Windsor Fire Department; Derek Brunelle and Matt Caron. The SWFD Explorer program is the State's older Fire Explorer program dateing back nearly sixty years. Many of the members have attended this and related programs offered at the CFA.
