Jacobstown Fire Company Mourned Loss of John Schoch

Jacobstown, N.J. — August 9 — John T. Schoch, a 65-year-old member of the Jacobstown Volunteer Fire Company, passed away on August 8. After working as an EMT and firefighter for Jackson Fire District 3, Schoch joined Jacobstown. Additionally, he had volunteered as a firefighter in Jackson and Allenhurst. Schoch participated in departmental events and continues to serve his community as a volunteer firefighter at Jacobstown.


His expertise enhanced the organization's reaction skills and imparted knowledge to other members. Firefighters in Jacobstown honored Schoch for his dedication to the community and years of emergency duty. He was regarded as an important employe of the business.
