Auburn Firefighters Rescued Dog From Beneath Driveway

Auburn, N.Y. — July 20 — A dog stuck under a driveway prompted the Auburn Fire Department's Truck Company to react to Washington Street. The dog was trapped in a woodchuck hole and could not get out. Firefighters found the dog approximately six feet below the driveway after gaining entry thru a crawl passage beneath the property. The animal was safely removed from beneath the driveway after crews worked to reach it.
