Command 1720 Served as Hampton Lakes Quick-Response Unit

Vincentown, N.J. — July 19 — The fire chief's 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV, Command 1720, served as a quick-response command vehicle for Hampton Lakes Volunteer Fire Company. Command officers were able to come early, perform an initial size-up, set incident objectives, and communicate with approaching apparatus thanks to the unit. In order to manage emergency scenes, Command 1720 had an incident command board, command equipment, and a Code 3 emergency warning system.


A multi-gas meter, an AED, EMS equipment, spare portable radios, firefighter protective gear, SCBA, and other scene-management tools were also included in the van. During training exercises and emergency situations, the vehicle assisted with command functions.
