On August 10, Malone Callfiremen members went to Families R Us at Holy Family for a fire prevention detail, which let firefighters to interact with kids and go over fundamental fire safety.

Firefighters answered questions, discussed how to stay safe in an emergency, and discussed fire prevention with the kids. Children who participate in community fire prevention programs learn vital safety skills and know what to do in an emergency.

The department expressed gratitude to Families R Us employes and families for inviting its members and assisting with the fire safety visit.
