Pear River has accepted delivery of a Pierce Saber 1500-gpm/1000-gwt/20-gft pumper-tanker.   The cab has eight seats.  The front bumper has a trash line discharge gate and hose basket, plus there are two cross-lay hose beds and a booster reel mounted on the officer's side of the apparatus.  Ground ladders, pike polls and two lengths of hard suction hose are stored in a rear torque box. In addition, there are coffin-style compartments, scene lights, rear vision camera, manually operated deck gun, wheel well storage space, one rear discharge gate and one rear tank fill intake.  It carries 1000-feet of 5-inch LDH.
