Earlier in the spring of this year the New Danville Fire Company received back via donation their 1933 Ford 1-1/2 ton fire engine. This piece formally served with the company from 1934 to 1962. Nearly two decades after being taken oos and sold to a collector it received a full restoration that took place from 1982 to 1985 to the condition as it appears today. The company graciously accepted the donation and plans to use the piece for public relation and fire related events.
