Bucks, PA - Firefighters from Midway Volunteer Fire Company conducted a simulated real-fire training evolution at Station 15, focusing on coordinated fire attack and water supply operations.

Engine 15-1 operated as the first-due apparatus, initiating a master stream attack with the deck gun. Interior-qualified firefighters were then deployed with handlines throughout the apparatus bay to simulate interior fire attack conditions. At the same time, Engine 5 executed a reverse-lay using 5-inch large diameter hose to establish a reliable hydrant water supply to the scene.

Engineers took the opportunity to evaluate different hose configurations, fittings, and hookups to observe their impact on water flow and pressure. Crews also simulated equipment failures, requiring quick adjustments and reinforcing adaptability under changing fireground conditions.

The drill emphasized teamwork, communication, and mastering fundamental skills to ensure readiness for real-world incidents.
