Natrona Heights, PA. — August 10 — George Mullins Jr., a life member and fire police officer who was a longstanding member of Shaler Villa Volunteer Fire Company, was acknowledged by Citizens Hose Fire/Rescue/EMS for his line-of-duty death. Mullins was remembered for his contribution to the fire community. He has been with Shaler Villa for over 30 years and was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Mullins' family, friends, and fellow emergency personnel received condolences from Citizens Hose Fire/Rescue/EMS. The department acknowledged his death as a line-of-duty loss. While commemorating Mullins' years of service, members of the fire service community continued to offer assistance to those impacted.
