VFD Provided Support During New Kensington EMS Response

New Kensington, PA. — July 25 — EMS workers in the vicinity of Short Street and Entrance Drive received assistance from the Logans Ferry Heights Volunteer Fire Department. Firefighters assisted in maintaining a secure working environment for emergency personnel and offered support during the medical response. While the call was being handled, the department collaborated with EMS staff and was on hand to help when needed.


The patient's precise circumstances, medical condition, and other details were not disclosed. The department's responsibility to assist community emergency medical calls included the response. The Logans Ferry Heights Volunteer Fire Department served New Kensington and the adjacent neighborhoods with volunteer fire and emergency services out of Summit Avenue.
