On July 3, Dr. Joe Minichiello received recognition from the Portland Fire Department after completing his MaineHealth EMS Fellowship at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center.
In order to enhance prehospital patient care capabilities, Dr. Minichiello collaborated with department EMS professionals over the course of the previous year, providing medical supervision, training, direction, and advanced clinical support. He will stay at Maine Medical Center and is anticipated to continue working as the department's assistant medical director even after his fellowship has ended.
