Wantagh, N.Y. — 8th July — After a protracted illness, former member and former captain Victor Spagnuolo passed away, according to the Wantagh Fire Department, located at 2995 Jerusalem Ave. in Wantagh, New York. As a fireman and fire medic, Spagnuolo served the community with expertise and compassion for over 30 years.

Throughout his tenure, he strengthened the department's dedication to public service, assisted with emergency responses, and mentored other staff members. Generations of firemen and the communities they served were profoundly impacted by his achievements. As they celebrated his legacy, the department sent its condolences to his family, friends, and the entire fire service community.
