Stewart Manor, N.Y. — 4th July — In honor of the United States' 250th anniversary, the Stewart Manor Fire Department, located at 120 Covert Ave. in Stewart Manor, New York, held their 27th annual Independence Day Parade. Every year, firefighters celebrate America's historic milestone by welcoming locals, nearby emergency services, and community organizations. The procession built community ties that support emergency response all year long and honored the service of volunteer firefighters.


Residents were also urged by fire officials to celebrate sensibly by adhering to local fireworks laws and maintaining clear emergency access routes. The celebration honored America's 250th birthday and demonstrated the department's ongoing dedication to public service.
