Oyster Bay Fire Department Marked America’s 250th Birthday

Oyster Bay, N.Y. — 4th July — The Department Oyster Bay Fire Department, 188 South St., Oyster Bay, NY, marked Independence Day by recognizing the 250th anniversary of the United States. The department joined communities nationwide in celebrating the historic occasion while encouraging residents to enjoy the holiday safely and responsibly. Fire officials reminded the public to follow local fireworks regulations, dispose of smoking materials properly and keep emergency access routes clear.
Volunteer firefighters remained available throughout the holiday to provide fire, rescue and emergency medical services as needed. The observance reflected both America’s 250th birthday and the department’s continued commitment to protecting the Oyster Bay community during holiday celebrations.
