In honor of the country's 250th anniversary, the Riverhead Fire Department took part in the Town of Riverhead's America 250 Independence Day Parade on July 4.

During the community event, firefighters proudly represented the department by displaying two vintage pieces of equipment from the department's collection: the antique Steamer and Red Jacket. The yearly parade honored the signing of the Declaration of Independence by bringing together locals, organizations, and first responders.
