Miller Place Firefighters Conduct Vehicle Extrication Drill

On July 2, the Miller Place Fire Department's Truck Company performed a vehicle extrication training exercise for the department's members.


Firefighters were able to practice the skills utilized in actual motor vehicle accidents during the practical training, which focused on vehicle rescue tactics, patient care, scene coordination, and collaboration. In addition to enhancing communication on the disaster site, crews collaborated to support safe and efficient rescue operations.
