On June 28, members of the Mastic Beach Fire Department and the Mastic Fire Department came together to celebrate the graduation of the William Floyd High School Class of 2026.
As they commemorated the milestone, firefighters created a ceremonial show to honor the graduating seniors by raising a giant American flag between two ladder trucks. The homage emphasized the departments' ongoing assistance to the community and local schools.
